The Operational Blueprint
Not a survey. Not a checklist you fill out yourself. A structured, in-depth evaluation — done by someone who's spent real time on job sites and in ownership meetings — followed by a written report with specific, prioritized recommendations.
The Problem With "Just Winging It"
Most construction companies run on instinct and institutional memory — which works fine until it doesn't. Growth exposes cracks that were always there: a job costing process that only one person understands, a superintendent managing people the same way he manages materials, a Procore license nobody fully uses. The Operational Blueprint finds those cracks before they turn into lost margin, lost people, or lost jobs.

What It Covers
We evaluate your company across 8 core areas and 25 specific points — not to generate a stack of paper, but to give you a clear, ranked view of where your attention will make the biggest difference.

What You Get
-
A structured, on-site evaluation across all 25 points, backed by a background call and document review beforehand
-
A written report with findings for each area, in plain language
-
Clear prioritization: what's urgent, what's important but not urgent, and what's already working well
-
A recommended next step — which doesn't have to involve more work with us
What It's Not
This isn't a sales pitch disguised as an assessment. Some contractors simply take the report and handle the fixes internally. Most ask for help with the top two or three priorities — but that's a decision you make after seeing the findings, not before.
How It Works
-
Initial background call — 90 minutes via Zoom with leadership (owners, department heads) to understand the company before we ever set foot on site
-
Document request & review — sent roughly 2 weeks ahead of the on-site visit, so we walk in already knowing your operation on paper
-
On-site evaluation — 2-3 days on site (longer for larger or multi-site companies), covering all 25 points in person
-
Follow-up interviews — additional Zoom conversations with individuals or small groups, as needed, to round out findings
-
Report delivery & review — a full written report delivered within 15 days of the on-site visit, followed by a 1-2 hour Zoom review with leadership to walk through findings and next steps
